Description
To recognize the best oral presentation and paper by a student at the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Conference. (Established in 1998)
Prize
$500 and a Plaque. The honorarium is split among multiple student coauthors who also receive a Plaque and a ticket to attend the Awards Banquet at the IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics.

Funded by the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society through an endowment administered by the IEEE Foundation.
Eligibility
The presenter must be a major contributor to both the written paper and the results described in the paper, and a student when the paper was completed.
Basis for Judging
Technical quality, presentation quality, and ability to communicate and respond to questions concerning the topic of the paper.
