Call for IEEE SMC EDI Proposals
IEEE’s mission to foster technological innovation and excellence to benefit humanity requires the talents and perspectives of people with different personal, cultural, and disciplinary backgrounds. IEEE is committed to advancing diversity in the technical profession, and to promoting an inclusive and equitable culture that welcomes, engages, and rewards all who contribute to the field, without regard to race, religion, gender, disability, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
Please use the form below to submit your IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (SMCS) Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives to be evaluated by the IEEE SMCS EDI subcommittee.
▶ Make a difference in equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout the SMCS community: consider submitting a proposal for projects, programs, and events to further this mission. The 2024 IEEE SMCS EDI Call for Proposals is soliciting innovative proposals to expand access to relevant education to a broader audience. While proposals not focused on expanding education access will be considered, proposals aligned with access to education will receive higher priority.
▶ Final impact reports are required for all funded projects and activities.
▶ Execution of the proposals should commence within three months from the selection, and end in one year from the selection.
