Our Goal
The mission of the TC on Cyber-Medical Systems is to serve its members and the society at large by promoting the theory and practice of personalized healthcare. It is accomplished through conferences, publications, and other activities that contribute to the professional needs of its members.
Cyber-Medical Systems connects physical healthcare systems with computational components. This case of special smart systems is related to medical devices, robotics, computer and control engineering, cloud computing, medical knowledge-based systems and of course medical science; hence, it covers basic research, applied research and industrial research questions as well.
In other words Cyber-Medical Systems integrates medical knowledges with engineering applications in order to create personalized smart healthcare techniques.
Hence the Scope of the proposed TC on CMS could be defined as: The utilization of Computational Intelligence Techniques in smart healthcare systems and personalized healthcare applications, especially in the areas of ,odel-based healthcare treatment, physiological control systems, medical knowledge-based systems, medical cybernetics, cloud computing, multi-sensing, cloud robotics, medical robotics, big-data analysis, machine learning, multi-feature extraction in multidimensional data, cognitive analysis of patients.
The vision of TC on Cyber-Medical Systems is to be recognized as the leading technical committee for the advancement of theory and application of intelligent healthcare applications in the Cyber-Physical Systems’ field.
