Cyber-Physical Cloud Systems

Our Goal

Today’s distributed and networked cyber-physical systems have become increasingly complex. New solutions are urgently required to effectively tackle the soaring complexities of such systems. The Technical Committee on Cyber-Physical Cloud Systems focuses on the higher layers of cyber-physical systems architecture, particularly smart data processing, real-time data analytics and cloud service provisioning in engineering self-organized distributed and networked cyber-physical systems. Of particular interest are the following areas:

  • cloud computing and services for cyber-physical systems
  • real-time data analytics and data stream management for cyber-physical systems
  • context-aware event processing for cyber-physical systems
  • Internet of Things and real-time cloud services
  • data driven framework for cyber-physical systems
  • security challenges in cyber-physical cloud systems
  • service-oriented computing architectures, web services for cyber-physical systems
  • situational awareness in cyber-physical systems
  • data virtualization and data-as-a-service in cyber-physical systems
  • cyber-physical cloud systems for smart city, smart energy grid
  • industrial cyber-physical cloud systems

Join Us

The Technical Committee on Cyber-Physical Cloud Systems aims to be the focal forum worldwide for academics and practitioners active in the frontiers of cyber-physical cloud systems. We warmly welcome and highly value your support and engagement in the Technical Committee, which in return will provide you with a global network of excellence and a wide spectrum of collaboration opportunities in the community, e.g., in editing Journal special issues and book series, and organizing invited sessions and workshops which are technically supported by the Technical Committee. In particular, we organize Special Sessions, Workshops and/or Tutorial Sessions at the annual IEEE SMCS conferences, and contribute towards the technical initiatives of IEEE SMCS (e.g., thematic books on Systems Science and Engineering) and technical activities of IEEE SMCS chapters around the world.
