The SMC Society is seeking an enthusiastic and organized volunteer to promote the SMC Society using social media. The major responsibility of the position is to develop and execute a social media plan using LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms for generating, editing, and sharing content that increases the visibility and recognition of the SMC Society. The Social Media Specialist will prepare and post content that promotes publications, conferences, technical activities, chapters, and communities of the SMC Society. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are required. The term of this position is two years beginning January 1, 2016.
