It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2026 IEEE International Conference on Human-Machine Systems (ICHMS), which will be held from 1 to 3 July 2026 at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

With the theme “Beyond Interaction: Integrating Humans, Machines and Intelligent Autonomous Systems”, ICHMS 2026 will bring together leading researchers, educators, and practitioners from around the world to exchange ideas, present innovations, and explore the future of human machine integration. The conference will feature inspiring keynote talks, technical sessions, workshops, and panel discussions designed to foster collaboration across disciplines.

The Venue

Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore is a research-intensive institution ranked 15ᵗʰ worldwide in the QS World University Rankings 2025 and the world’s top young university in both the QS “Top 50 Under 50” and THE Young University Rankings. Home to about 33,000 students and over 5,000 faculty and research staff across eight academic colleges, NTU houses the world’s largest engineering college and a constellation of flagship centres including the Robotics Research Centre, the AI-for-X Centre and the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (AI.R) that drive interdisciplinary advances in AI, robotics, and human-machine systems. The campus hosts a S$24 million 5G C-V2X mobility test-bed in partnership with M1, full-sized autonomous electric buses developed with Volvo, high-performance computing clusters, maker labs and purpose-built auditoria. Sustainability is woven into the physical fabric: NTU has achieved 100% Green Mark Platinum certification for every eligible building, and its eighth zero-energy building Gaia makes the university custodian of half of all certified zero-energy buildings in Singapore. Together these resources create a self-contained ecosystem complete with on-campus accommodation and seamless mass-transit links where cutting-edge research, education and large-scale technology gatherings can flourish side by side.​
