The 2016 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC2016) Budapest, during October 9-12, 2016. SMC2016 is dedicated to the Hungarian born John von Neumann “a Pioneer of Modern Computer Science”. In honor of him, the theme of the conference is “A theory that transformed the world to a Cyberspace”. For the first time, parallel with SMC2016 will be organized a new activity, SMC Junior 2016, dedicated to the Young Generation of IEEE.

The Capital City of Hungary, Budapest has an extremely rich history started in the early Roman age, when the first predecessor city was founded by the Celtics among the hills of Buda near the Danube River. The city in this form was established in 1873 by the union of Buda and Óbuda from the left side and Pest from the right side of the Danube. Nowadays, Budapest, the City of a thousand faces becomes an international metropolis, which is becoming more popular year-by-year, owing to the countless historical and modern attractions. The most popular historical parts of the City are the Buda’s Castle District with the Royal Palace of Buda, the Andrássy Avenue, the Danube Promenade (where the conference venue can be found), which are both UNESCO World Heritage sites. The memorials of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, including the Parliament, the Heroes’ Square and the Chain Bridge can provide an enormous sightseeing opportunity. The restaurants of Budapest are dominated by the Hungarian relish and a few of them owing Michelin star, as well. The bath culture is significant in Hungary, especially in Budapest, where several historical thermal spas can be found. The Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden provides pleasant relaxation in the center of the City and there are several excursion possibility among the Buda Hills who desires hiking. Budapest is also famous from its several Ruin Pubs, where the one of the best handmade beers can be drunk in Central-Europe.
