PROFESSOR IN OPERATIONS RESEARCH, TENURE TRACK OR TENURED POSITION
The position will be in the Systems Analysis Laboratory research group, Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis.
The research interests of the group cover the areas of systems science widely including optimization, control, decision and risk analysis and technology foresight and assessment. The group is active in applying operations research to complex industrial, economic, energy and environmental systems. It also runs the national Doctoral Program in Systems Analysis, Decision Making, and Risk Management (www.sal.tkk.fi/tutkijakoulu).
Preference is given to candidates with a strong research profile in systems analysis, optimization, and modeling of dynamic systems. The teaching duties are related to these topics. Candidates should have demonstrated ability towork on real-life problems using operations research methods. The candidates should hold a doctorate in operations research or related field.

POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN OPERATIONS RESEARCH
We look for strong candidates to join the SAL research group, see: http://www.sal.tkk.fi/en/ We are particularly interested in people doing researh in one of the following topics: decision analysis, optimization,simulation, systems thinking, environment and climate change, behavioral DM/OR, experimental game theory.
Candidates are required to hold a PhD degree before the start of the contract.The appointment is for a fixed term of two years, starting early 2012, or soon thereafter.
