SCOPE - With the prevalence of semantic technologies and the emergence of a networked environment on the Web, which is becoming a focal center of attention for knowledge sharing and process execution, software research and practice would need to move towards adaptability with these emerging technologies. Semantic technologies can play a major role in enhancing the reusability and extensibility of software systems, supporting improvements in quality assurance and measurement, speeding software development through semantic-aware component-based systems and commercially off the shelf products (COTS), and many other areas. Software engineering research can hence highly benefit from semantic techniques. We solicit high-quality contributions with consolidated and thoroughly evaluated application-oriented research results or review articles in the area of semantic enabled software.
