At least one organiser must be committed to attending the conference and chairing the workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0073ae\"><strong>Workshop Organisation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Before the Submission of Papers:\n<ul>\n<li>Workshop organisers prepare a call for papers and a workshop website.<\/li>\n<li>Workshop organisers promote the workshop to attract high-quality submissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Submission Process:\n<ul>\n<li>Papers are submitted through the conference system, specifying that the manuscript is intended for a particular workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Workshop organisers ensure that submitted papers adhere to the same format and length requirements as the main conference.<\/li>\n<li>Workshop organisers manage the review process, ensuring each paper undergoes double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Review Timeline and Quality Assurance:\n<ul>\n<li>Deadlines and review timelines align with those of the main conference.<\/li>\n<li>Organisers act as editors, checking the quality and originality of accepted papers and providing a summary of the similarity report for the accepted papers to the workshop general chairs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Paper Decisions:\n<ul>\n<li>Workshop organisers determine whether a manuscript is published as a regular or short paper, adjusting the original submission if necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Presentation and Participation:\n<ul>\n<li>Accepted papers must be presented in person by one of the authors at the conference.<\/li>\n<li>Presentations follow the same format as the main conference regarding types and durations.<\/li>\n<li>Workshop participants must pay the standard conference fees, which grant access to all sessions, including workshops.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Publication:\n<ul>\n<li>Accepted workshop papers are published in the conference proceedings in the workshop section, available online via IEEE and indexed by IEEE Xplore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0073ae\"><strong>Workshop Proposal Submission<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Workshop proposers should submit two documents via email to Professor Hisao Ishibuchi (<a href=\"mailto:hisao@omu.ac.jp,mbautis@decsai.ugr.es\">hisao@omu.ac.jp<\/a>)\u00a0AND Professor Maria J. Martin-Bautista (<a href=\"mailto:mbautis@decsai.ugr.es,hisao@omu.ac.jp\">mbautis@decsai.ugr.es<\/a>)\u00a0\u00a0by <span style=\"color: #0073ae\">15th October 2025<\/span>:\n<ol>\n<li>Workshop Proposal Document (Maximum Two Pages):\n<ul>\n<li>Title: The proposed title of the workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Scope and Aims: A clear description of the workshop\u2019s theme, goals, and significance.<\/li>\n<li>Content and Objectives: An outline of the workshop content and its intended outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Programme Committee Members: A list of committee members with their affiliations and links to their personal websites. These members will act as prospective reviewers for the workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Tentative List of Invited Speakers: If applicable, a list of proposed speakers with affiliations and potential talk topics.<\/li>\n<li>Previous Events: Details of similar workshops or conference sessions previously organised by the proposers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Proposer Biosketch Document:\n<ul>\n<li>A short CV or biosketch for each workshop proposer, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Links to their Google Scholar, SCOPUS, ORCID, and, if available, Web of Science profiles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Notification of Acceptance:\n<ul>\n<li>Acceptance or rejection of workshop proposals will be communicated to organisers by <span style=\"color: #0073ae\">17th October 2025<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>Upon acceptance, organisers are expected to have their call for papers online by <span style=\"color: #0073ae\">30th October 2025<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview A workshop at IEEE CAI 2026 is a specialised thematic session organised and chaired by researchers in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
