Our
goals
Enterprise information system
(EIS) has become increasingly popular over the last 15 years because
it integrates and extends business processes across the boundaries of
business functions and corporate walls, as well as country border lines.
The primary objective of the IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Enterprise
Information Systems (TCEIS) is to provide an international EIS forum,
bring together professionals working in this interdisciplinary area,
and promote research, development, technical innovation and international
collaboration in the area of enterprise information systems.

Conference on Research and Practical Issues on EIS in Hungary, 2009
- Co-organizing the Second International
Workshop on E-Marketplace Integration and Interoperability in
conjunction with 2008 IEEE International Conference on e-Business
Engineering (ICEBE 2008) at Xian, China, October 2008
- Co-organizing the 24th ACM Symposium on
Applied Computing Track on EIS at Honolulu, USA, March 2009
- Co-organized the 23rd ACM Symposium on
Applied Computing Track on EIS at Fortaleza, Brazil, March 2008
