1) IEEE SMCS Hong Kong Student Branch Chapters: Best Student Paper Contest
The First IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapter Student Paper Contest 2009 will be held in Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 26 September, 2009. The Student Paper Contest 2009 is co-organized by IEEE SMC Society Student Branch Chapters of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Baptist University. The Student Paper Contest aims to provide postgraduate students with an opportunity to discuss their research results with senior researchers in the field, other students and researchers.
The Winner of the paper contest is awarded USD $200, one year IEEE & SMC Student Membership and Certificate. All finalists must give a presentation in Hong Kong on the contest day (26-Sep-2009). Finalists residing outside Hong Kong can apply for a travel subsidy of up to USD $100.
