Title:
Technical Committees Web Editor

Responsibilities:
The Technical Committees Web Editor is responsible for the SMCS Technical Committees (TC) website, including the planning, preparation, and editing of content and images. Specific responsibilities for the position are as follows:

• Develop a new design and format for the Technical Committees website that is consistent with the look and feel of the SMCS website
  
• Create a template for TC chairs to submit updates to their web pages
  
• Update pages of the TC website on a timely basis
  
• Coordinate changes of the TC website with the SMCS Web Editor and the SMCS Webmaster

Reporting:
Chair, Electronic Communications Committee

Commitment:
4-8 hours/month

Term:
Three years

Nominations:
Nominations and all supporting material should be sent to Bill Gruver (w.gruver@ieee.org) and be received by February 20, 2012 in order to be considered. The nomination should include:

• Name and affiliation of the nominee
• Email confirmation by the nominee that he/she accepts to be nominated
• Short resume of the nominee, including experience that is relevant to the position
