I
would also like to encourage you to submit papers to our
flagship conference, SMC’03, as there is still time
to do so. Invited papers are due April 17th,
and regular papers are due April 10th. For more

The
2003 SMC conference will be held in Washington, D.C. at
the luxurious Crystal City Hyatt Regency Hotel. One of the
Plenary Speakers will be Professor Lotfi A. Zadeh, University
of California, Berkeley, who will talk about “Computing
with Words and Perceptions - A Paradigm Shift in Computing
and Decision Analysis”.
Finally,
you will soon be sent out a ballot for the election of 5
new SMC AdCom members. Please take the time to vote for
them as the successful governance of our society depends
on your participation!
